University Trip Waterford
Another one for the books, Waterford might be for you if you want to venture down south to a destination so appealing that the vikings had to pull over. The Viking ents officer threw a ball of such epic proportions and caused such a ruckus that they were forced out by the neighbors for noise complaints and bin tipping. Fond yet fuzzy memories of the port town meant that the Vikings had not quenched their thirst for the banter that Waterford had to offer however. After setting up temporary digs nearby, they came back and threw the rag week to beat all rag weeks and colonised it into the original student city of Ireland.
Today you can be set up in accommodation a lot more endearing than what the vikings endured. The locals are now a lot more hospitable. We can set you up in student friendly hostels or a hotel with an ideally located leisure centre and ressy bar. The rooms are also comfortably laid out - plasma TV and all- for those hoping for a night in, or for those who can’t hack the sesh. Some of the events that we offer include paintball, karting, airsoft, football golf and segway games. If you are more drawn to the sea than the land, Waterford’s coast line is known as The Copper Coast and is well known for both it’s scenery and it’s remote surfing beaches. Other notable events and activities to look out for in Waterford include the culture fueled Spraoi festival or a student race day at the dawgs.
After you have worked up an appetite, chasing tail, we can’t deny that Waterford has some of the best and certainly most interesting food to devour in Ireland. It’s practically the chicken wing capital of Ireland with a BYOC chicken wing restaurant. Lovin Waterford will testify to this. Really though, one hangover friendly delicacy that Waterford does actually offer is Ireland’s first Burzza. Yes, it does mean what you think it does, a burger pizza. As Ireland's home of satire,Waterfordian’s seem like great craic, whether you’re sipping pints or hitting the hard stuff in one of the nightclubs they offer. Whichever you fancy, we can make it happen.
